Jackie and Neil Prosser swapped their Manchester house for a fresh start in a central London flat, finds Dominic Lutyens.

Our Collector’s Flat London mansion block project featured in Evening Standard Homes & Property.
The 260 sq.m property is set within the second floor of York House, a Victorian era mansion block located in the Portman Estate Conservation Area in Marylebone, London.
We were commissioned to deliver a complete refurbishment of the property to the highest standard and oversee the works from early stage concept design to completion. Works included structural alterations, new bathrooms, kitchen, utility room and an overhaul of electrical and mechanical services.
A 1.8m wide hallway provides a grand entrance to the property. Structural alterations to the hallway are designed to create a new direct view to outside and to maximise natural light filtering through to the entrance.
