Dan graduated from the Architectural Association with honours in 2007, following which he spent a period of over 8 years working for well known and award winning practices in London. During that time he gained a diverse range of experience from the small scale of furniture design, through large public art installation to office development and residential master planning.
With the majority of the practice’s current work in central London on dense urban sites and in conservation areas, Dan is interested in questions arising from the careful introduction of the ‘new’ into existing urban fabric.
Dan has an interest in innovative construction techniques and particularly enjoys the possibilities afforded by the merging of new technology with old craft.
The practice was founded in Marylebone and is still involved in the local community. Dan has been a member of the Marylebone Association Planning Sub committee for the past 2 years – a statutory consultee on all planning applications in the Marylebone Area. This experience has provided valuable insight into planning matters in Marylebone and further afield in Westminster.
