Simona Uzunova
Architectural Designer

Growing up in a small town in Bulgaria, Simona developed a curiosity about local methods of construction, passed down over generations and constantly evolving. From an early age she cultivated a strong interest in Art and 3D/ solid geometry in particular. This fascination with geometry drove her toward architecture.
Her move to London to study at The London School of Architecture exposed her to a thriving multicultural city where difference is all around and a driver of progress, often expressed through the built environment. Simona believes that architecture should help steer progress from the large, urban scale down to the more human scale of our homes and workplaces.
Simona regularly participates in voluntary design programs with schools, applying design thinking to problem solving current societal issues. She loves to be in nature and has recently taken up bonsai growing.
